 Brushless Servo C Series Motor Drive Module—The NI‑9502 is a single‑axis module that can drive three-phase brushless servo motors. Motor control, which is traditionally fixed in drive firmware, is implemented using an FPGA and is fully customizable in the LabVIEW FPGA Module with LabVIEW SoftMotion Module motor control VIs.
The NI‑9502 provides an alternative to expensive and time-consuming custom drive development or paying a drive vendor for custom firmware. Furthermore, the NI‑9502 eliminates large stand-alone motor drives and unwieldy cabling to enable highly embedded motion systems.
