The Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at KMC Manipal was established in 1967. It is one of the para clinical departments which is involved in teaching of undergraduates of II year professional MBBS course. It has well equipped labs, classes and a well-organised museum. It has a full-time operational staff library, a large student laboratory, spacious demo room with OHP and LCD projectors which can comfortably accommodate 70 students.
