The Department of Oral Pathology was established in 1965 and the department is involved in teaching the subjects of Dental Anatomy, Oral Histology, Oral Pathology and Microbiology. It  has a state-of-the-art infrastructure to carry out histopathological, histochemical and immuno-histochemical studies. The department conducts research in the areas of potentially malignant oral lesions, oral cancer, odontogenic cysts and tumours.
