Department of Pediatrics is actively involved in undergraduate and Postgraduate trainings well as in Research activities. All faculty regularly attend various scientific programmes like conferences workshops, symposia and CME’s and present scientific papers in National and International Conferences. The faculty have published articles in National and International Journals with high Impact factor, Indexed in scopus and in web of science. Department has ongoing short term student research project, Postgraduate dissertation projects and ICMR funded interdepartmental collaborative research projects. Fields of research activity in the department include neonatology, nutrition, social paediatrics, rheumatology, haematology, oncology, Pediatric Intensive care etc.
