The department of Anatomy is not only efficient in teaching, it is also equally good in research activities. The department has well equipped histology and research laboratories. Over the past two decades, the faculty have presented their scientific research in various national and international conferences. The faculty have published scientific papers in high impact factor journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. The faculty from Anatomy department have been twice awarded Dr. TMA Pai Gold Medal for their excellent research. The department of Anatomy presently has ongoing faculty research projects along with short term student projects and PhD programs.
