Manipal Center for Infectious Diseases (MAC ID) was launched with an aim of fostering research and training in the field of infectious and tropical diseases at MAHE, Manipal. MAC ID was inaugurated on 13th August 2016. The center has collaborative program with McGill University as Manipal McGill Program for Infectious Diseases (MAP ID)

Mission: To achieve excellence in infectious diseases research and training and to promote translation of knowledge into policy and practice.
