1. Overview
For the purpose of expanding both the quality and volume of research supporting the hospitality industry and its related service industries, Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration is making an attempt to promote research through research publications and collaborations with several national and international educational institutions. Towards this end, an individual center of excellence has been created to offer special assistance to these research activities. The primary objective of the center for hospitality and tourism research at WGSHA is to support the university research initiatives through faculty research publications and grants at the institutional level. As part of this initiative, CHTR has planned to organize series of workshops on research methodology and research paper writing for the benefit of all of all faculty members and students at WGSHA.
2. Objectives
- To develop a research environment in which young researchers excel in hospitality research field
- To raise hospitality research levels to global standards and aim to activate and advance researches further
- To promote a wide range of researchers, from basic research activities to cutting-edge research contributions in the field of hospitality and interdisciplinary research
