Description: The system for determining hemodialysis efficacy of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients comprises a breath-test model, which is constructed based on correlation equation between Kt/V values in blood samples and stable isotope ratios of exhaled breath 13CO2/12CO2 in ESRD patients.

Description: The invention provides for dioxo vanadium complexes for inhibiting the enzymatic activity of carbonic anhydrase metalloenzyme to prevent carbonic anhydrase-associated disorders and also provides a process for synthesis of the same.
