Professional Information

As a critical Geographer and Urban Planner, I've dedicated my career to understanding the intricate relationship between humans and their environment. My research further deepened my expertise in regional transformations and sustainability. Currently, as the Post-graduate as the program lead of IAIDP at Srishti Manipal Institute and the Principal Investigator of the Centre for Reimagining Transitions, I'm committed to fostering a new generation of design professionals equipped to address complex challenges at neighborhood level. My research focuses on the intersection of sustainability, inequality, and design thinking, with a particular emphasis on place-based approaches.

Research interests

Sustainable development, sustainable transitions, decolonization, socio-economic development & wellbeing, inequality studies, environmental issues and climate change, and public policy and governance, cultural heritage conservation, design thinking.
