Dr. Ravindra Munoli is currently an Additional Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, under the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).
He obtained his M.B.B.S. from Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, Gulbarga, and his M.D. in Psychiatry from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.

With over a decade of academic and clinical experience, Dr. Munoli has served in multiple capacities including Senior Resident, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and now Additional Professor. He has been actively involved in postgraduate training, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary teaching.

He has contributed book chapters to national publications including Handbook of Psychodermatology, Suicide: Indian Perspective, and Systemic Drugs in Dermatology. He has over 50 peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals.

Part of editorial and educational initiatives, authored mental health awareness articles in Kannada, and developed models of psychodermatology liaison clinic and is a founder member of Psychodermatology Association of India.
He has participated in public awareness programs through television, radio, and community platforms, focusing on depression, substance use, and mental well-being. He has published a book titled Maanasika Aarogya Mattu Kaayilegalu Part 1 in Kannada language for the common man.
He has participated in Hackathons and has won prizes for the development of application called "SACHETANA" for screening and monitoring mental health of the student population.

2014: Dr. S.S. Jayaram Memorial Award for the year 2014, for contributions towards enhancing public awareness in the field of mental health was awarded by Indian Psychiatric Society- Karnataka Chapter at annual state conference held on 6th and 7th September 2014 at Udupi, Karnataka.
2015: Dr. M Dhruvakumar Award for best psychotherapy for the year 2014-2015. Awarded by Indian Psychiatric Society- Karnataka Chapter at annual state conference held on 29th and 30th August 2015 at Shivamogga, Karnataka.
2015: Received 3rd Prize for mental health literature in Local Language Section during 3rd edition of SCARF –PII (Schizophrenia Research Foundation- Press Institute of India) Mental Health Awards on 20th October 2015 at SCARF, Chennai.
2018: 2nd Prize in Posters category for the poster titled Historical Evoultion of Psychiatry in KMC, Manipal during “IPSKC Suvarna Sambhrama” held on 28 – 29 July 2018 at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
2020: Prize in Online Quiz Organized by Indian Psychiatric Society South Zone and Icons during Annual National Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society South Zone from 18 – 20 October at Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, Kodagu.
