• Special interest in integrated medical education where a concept may be discussed with students as a whole and not in a compartmentalized manner.
• I was in charge of delivering a unique course called clinic-patho-physiology and therapeutics for second year undergraduate students. In this course, a few select topics from systemic pathology are taught along with clinicians (internists, medical oncologists, pulmonologists and nephrologists). The didactic session is followed by small group discussion of cases from an online interactive database called eLearning. This course was initiated at KMC, Manipal in collaboration with Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago, IL, USA.
• I am the coordinator for Virtual Global Health Elective Course which is COIL modelled learning program in collaboration with Student Mobility Center, Department of Community Medicine, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and King’s College, London. This project has also been recognized and been funded by Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Diagnostics:
• Reporting CBC, peripheral smear, bone marrow examination, body fluid and urine analyses, coagulation studies, hemoglobin electrophoresis.
• Responsible for flow cytometry section (BD FACS CANTO II, DxFLEX BC, with FACS Diva, FACS Cantoclinical FACS Suite, CytExpert, Kaluza, FlowJo and FCS express softwares) and reporting leukemia-lymphoma, myeloma, minimal residual disease assay, PNH, stem cell enumeration and T lymphocyte subset enumeration panels.
Administration:
