Professional Information
Dr. Vivek Pandi is a field biologist passionate about uncovering how plants adapt and evolve across ecological and geological timescales. With more than ten years of field experience in the forests of southern India, his research explores the ecology and evolution of climbing plants. He compiled and published the first dataset on Indian climbers and their functional traits. His current work integrates plant functional ecology, paleoecology, and biogeography to understand patterns of plant diversity and adaptation
