Abstract

This paper introduces a new class of generalized contractive mappings to establish a common fixed point theorem for a new class of mappings in complete b-metric spaces. This can be considered as an extension in some of the existing ones. Finally, we provide an example to show that our result is a natural generalization of certain fixed point theorems.
