Abstract
A single element microstrip antenna with a single radiating structure is presented. T-shaped and fin-like slots have been engraved to get good impedance matching, ensuring the antenna performs well at the desired frequency. The antenna operates in the frequency range (22.81–25.18) GHz with dimensions (6.46 × 5.5 × 0.254) mm3 and a bandwidth of 2.37 GHz. Slots are developed to improve bandwidth, and the reflection coefficient is below -10dB at 24.01 GHz; therefore, it has acceptable impedance matching and minimal signal reflection.
