Abstract

Cyber-physical systems (CPSs) do not follow a normal design approach; instead, they combine computational and physical components in a closed-loop system with interconnected interactions. Research institutes are creating learning factories to increase knowledge about Industry 4.0, which includes CPS. Although this sector has been made possible by advancements in networking, sensors, embedded systems, and computer components, difficulties still exist. In order to gain a deeper knowledge of this new multidisciplinary approach, this study looks at the architecture, problems, recent research, special qualities of CPS, and possible applications.
