Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) also referred as fourth industrial revolution is a reality in today’s world, particularly in the military. Educators and experts have stressed the importance of artificial intelligence. Additionally, global figures such as Obama, Trump, Xi Jinping and Modi have made remarks highlighting the importance of artificial intelligence. These remarks can be summed up by Putin’s September 2017 declaration that whoever becomes the leader in AI, will rule the world. This paper explores the revolutionary effects of artificial intelligence on diverse military activities, explaining the key developments in the defence industry. We look at eight major application, each of which represents an important aspect of modern military capability and strategy in countries, mainly India, U.S and China.
