Abstract

The Journal of Physical Therapy (JPT) is stepping over its second year (third volume) of successful dissemination of research findings with information shared across the globe in the field of physical therapy. The aim of this editorial is to provide a reflection of historical milestones for the Journal from its inception, registration, teamwork, access, quality and scientific development, and a reporting trend analysis of published articles in volumes 1 to 3 of JPT. There was a positive trend observed for: (1) increase in number of original articles, (2) increase in number of articles from authors in different countries, (3) greater number of authors other than those from JPT editorial board, and (4) greater number of articles focusing on clinical practice of PT.
