Abstract
All institutions in the health care sector are facing increasing competition. Therefore, new management concepts are considered. Current strategies are evaluated, and the efficiency of outputs is questioned. Quality management becomes a powerful instrument for achieving quality and ultimate aims. This development will also be the key to success for public health services.
