N2 - A few novel 2,5-disubstituted-1,3,4-oxadiazole derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for antitubercular activity. The anti-tubercular activity was carried out as per the Rist and Grosset proportion method. Among the eight derivatives, the compounds substituted at ortho-position of the aromatic ring showed anti-tubercular activity comparable with the standard, isoniazid.
