Abstract
A study was undertaken in order to find the antimicrobial properties of essential oil of Curcuma longa leaves in vitro against a set of bacteria and fungus. The activity of the essential oil against Gram negative bacteria and pathogenic fungus even at 1:32 dilutions was found to be of interest.
