Abstract
Blockchain technology, with its tamper-proof and decentralized characteristics, offers a transformative opportunity to strengthen privacy and security in military operations. By integrating blockchain with artificial intelligence (AI), this chapter highlights how communication, operations, and data protection can be enhanced. The immutability of blockchain, combined with a distributed ledger, creates a solid security framework. Furthermore, cryptography plays a vital role, ensuring that only authorized individuals can access encrypted data, even if the blockchain is compromised. Combining AI with blockchain technology in military operations boosts its advantages. AI-driven systems, data analytics, and cybersecurity measures enhance understanding of the situation and support strategic decisions. This chapter explores how blockchain and AI, especially smart contracts, can automate transactions and agreements to enforce predefined rules, protecting sensitive military data.
