N2 - Novel biodegradable elastomers based on potato starch are synthesized and utilized as cell substrates. The elastomers were characterized in terms of their functional properties. To assess the suitability of th e synthesized elastomers for biomedical applications, studies on cell adhesion and cell viability were carried out.
