Abstract
Acute urinary retention in infancy, due to a congenital bladder diverticulum (CBD) is rare. The literature is scanty on the subject. We report 2 such cases. In both of them the ureters were opening directly into the diverticulum. One of them had a complete duplex system on the left side, which is the first reported of its kind, with both ureters of the duplex system opening into the diverticulum.
