Abstract
Employee wellness has evolved from a supplementary initiative to a strategic priority due to rising workplace stress, sedentary behaviours, and mental health concerns. Evidence highlights the potential of wellness programs to enhance employee health, productivity, and performance, with digital technologies enabling scalable and personalized interventions. The Asia-Pacific region leads this transformation, with organizations increasingly adopting integrated digital wellness strategies. However, despite growing interest, a gap remains in systematically synthesizing existing strategies, evaluating challenges, and exploring future opportunities. This chapter addresses this gap through a bibliometric analysis and narrative synthesis of digital innovations in employee wellness, analyzing trends and organizational challenges. By synthesizing key evidence, it offers actionable insights for HR professionals, leaders, and researchers, contributing to more effective and sustainable digital wellness initiatives.
