Cancer in pregnancy

Abstract

This chapter describes common malignancies that are seen in pregnancy. Chemotherapy can be used with safety after first trimester. Breast cancer, carcinoma cervix, carcinoma ovary, Hodgkin’s lymphoma and melanoma are common cancers which complicate pregnancy. Most cancers can now be managed without compromising pregnancy.
