Abstract

The paper presents laboratory investigations relating to concrete produced from three different types of cements, namely, fly-ash based blended cement, 43 grade OPC and 53 grade OPC. An attempt has been made to compare different properties like workability, setting time, strength, water absorption, etc. of M 20 and M 25 concretes made with three types of cement. It is concluded that the performance of blended cement concrete is superior to that the OPC concrete.
