N2 - A Cone-Shaped antenna is presented capable of radiating UWB pulse signal and wide bandwidth. This antenna consists of two conducting pairs of cone-shaped plates that are flared in opposite directions. If the aperture height is comparable to the wavelength, the antenna could radiate the signals at that frequency band. It exhibits a high gain of 20.7 dB. The antenna operates between 2.1 GHz-20 GHz frequency ranges with 161 % large fractional bandwidth. It is very compact, and easy to design for portable high-power systems.
