    Abstract

Learning disabilities are neurological conditions that impair an individual’s ability to process, comprehend, or utilize sensory information. Over the past decade, various assistive technologies (AT) have been developed to help children with Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) like dyslexia, which severely affects reading and writing skills. This paper discusses the development of an Android application tailored to support dyslexic children, aiming to bridge existing gaps. The application enhances their learning experience, improves educational opportunities, and boosts self-confidence using cutting-edge technology and a user-centric approach. Developed with Android Studio, this Java-based application promotes inclusivity in education, contributing to a more progressive and accessible educational system.
