N2 - This paper presents the design and simulation of LCL filter in wind energy conversion system in the isolated mode of operation, based on their general equations and designing a single-phase sinusoidal pulse width modulated voltage source inverter with the unipolar voltage switching in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. Selecting Permanent magnet synchronous generator. The LCL filter is introduced for attenuation of noise and it including R damping. The simulation results verify that LCL filter has a main role in wind energy conversion system. The total harmonics distortion of load voltage is analyzed.
