Abstract

Security of parked vehicles is of prime concern these days. In this paper a simple and cost effective vehicle tracking system is discussed which uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) technologies and a smartphone application for tracking of any movable asset. Using smart phone application the user can track the stolen vehicle with a click of a button.
