N2 - Availability of safe drinking water is crucial for nurturing human life on earth. Most of health problems arises due to the pollutant air and unhygienic water. water scarcity tends to human. Water contamination evolves stomach and health related problems, which overall effects the social life and development. The contaminated water is accelerating the microbial growth. This bacterial growth can be degraded with certain ranges of water quality parameters, mainly temperature, pH, and turbidity. These parameters generally measured in laboratories or costly equipment, and real time monitoring and data acquisition is tedious job. Presented work is to develop a cheap and portable android app-based water quality testing device which will help determine the water quality. The device is used to measure pH, Total dissolved Solid (TDS), and temperature initially, then information sent to Arduino based control unit. This device can be connected to mobile via Bluetooth, then android based mobile app shows the real time test data and record it for further analysis.
