Abstract
Intracranial tuberculomas are not uncommon lesions in developing countries. Tuberculomas can mimic many intracranial space occupying lesions, however, dural-based tuberculoma mimicking an en-plaque meningioma is very rare. We, report a 57-year-old male who presented with a seizure, and on imaging was diagnosed as an en-plaque meningioma. The patient underwent craniotomy and excision of the lesion which on histopathology was suggestive of a tuberculoma. The case is presented here for its rarity. Imaging and differential diagnosis are discussed. © 2010 by Lippincott Williams and Wilkins.
