Abstract
Present study deals with investigation on microstructural, mechanical and electrochemical properties of Cr-Mn austenitic stainless steel after thermal ageing at 800, 900, and 1000°C followed by 15 % cold reduction. The result shows that grain size and hardness increases after cold work because of strain induced martensite. The % DOS also increases as % of cold work and thermal ageing temperature increases.
