Abstract

In most urban areas plastic waste littered is a most common sight. The number of bottles, containers, and packaged strips, many other things, is continuously rising every day. As a result, the amount of w plastic garbage produced is growing. This causes a slew of environmental issues. Many of today's refuse will persist in the environment for many years, causing a multiplicities of environmental issues. As a result, with scientific advancements in every industry, it is vital to utilise wastes properly. So, in order to create an environmentally sustainable society, we must turn trash into money. We can do this by making use of this littered waste plastic in roads construction. Employment of waste plastic bags in bituminous mixes has demonstrated that these enhance the properties of mix in addition to resolving disposal problem. In the present study various tests were conducted on aggregate by mixing shredded waste plastic with aggregate and bitumen by using proper methodology. The result concluded that the product mix increases the impact strength, compressive strength and abrasive strength.
