Abstract
The Energetic Gamma Ray Experiment Telescope (EGRET) has repeatedly observed the south Galactic latitudes -30° < b < -10° during Phase 1 and 2 (1991 April to 1993 September). Analysis of these observations shows evidence for 20 point sources. The position, energy spectra, and time variability of these sources are examined. Several positions are consistent with bright, flat-spectrum radio sources. Possible weaker radio candidates for the other gamma-ray sources are examined, but many are without obvious counterparts.
