Abstract

In this paper, the concept of contractive mappings and ϕ− contraction mappings on Menger’s probabilistic normed spaces are defined with suitable examples. The unique fixed point theorem for contractive mappings and ϕ− contraction mappings are established in Menger’s probabilistic normed spaces.
