N2 - The growth of 5G networks is increasing the demand for flexible and wearable antennas that provide high speeds, low latency, and can be bent or shaped into different shapes. This paper presents a flexible ring slot antenna operating in the 3.5 GHz frequency range that is intended for wearable 5 G applications. The RT/duroid 5880 substrate used to design the presented antenna has a thickness of 20 mil, or 0.508 mm, and dimensions 50 × 50 mm2. From the simulation of the presented ring slot antenna using CST Microwave Studio the antenna was resonant at 3.51 GHz frequency and provided the antenna's reflection coefficient (S 1 1}|) is -1 6. 3 7 ∼ d B, and its directivity gain is 7.42 dBi. Its flexibility is assessed using a variety of bending analyses, proving that it is appropriate for 5G wearable applications.
