Abstract
Eye drops containing sulphacetamide sodium and trimethoprim were formulated and tested for their antibacterial activity and stability. The microorganisms were found to be more susceptible to this formulation than the formulation containing only sulphacetamide sodium. The accelerated stability studies showed a shelf life of 4 1/2 years.
