N2 - The review is on aimed an insight source for FRP- Nanoclay hybrid composite (nanocomposite) research, which includes basic structure/property, preparation & characterization techniques, mechanical properties and applications of hybrid composites. Key factors are discussed, which are influencing the mechanical properties of nanocomposite with nanoclay addition. Conclusions are also drawn based on the research of nanocomposites and improvement in mechanical properties.
