Abstract
In this paper, we further explore the notions of I-Cauchy and I∗-Cauchy in metric spaces, where I denotes an ideal in the set of all natural numbers N. Specifically, we address the question: When do the notions of I-Cauchy and I∗-Cauchy coincide? Additionally, we investigate functions between metric spaces that map I-Cauchy (I∗-Cauchy) sequences to I-Cauchy (I∗-Cauchy) sequences in metric spaces.
