Abstract
The mass spectrum of the S-wave heavy mesons is considered in the frame work of non-relativistic, semi-relativistic and relativistic models. A good agreement is obtained with the experimental masses. The role of one-gluon-exchange potential and confined-one-gluon-exchange potential is discussed.
