Abstract

The research paper, investigation is to locate out how to properly size and place non-dispatchable sources in distribution network. Employing the penalty function approach, a solar photo-voltaic system is studied as a distributed generator for reduction of energy loss and contains node voltage within the limit. To solve the issue, methods such as grey wolf optimization and particle swarm optimization have been used. The problem under consideration is examined on IEEE-33 bus distribution network. The outcomes of particle swarm optimization and grey wolf optimization are contrasted, and the simulation findings for the examined planning problem are encouraging.
