Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to develop a low cost system which keeps the room temperature at a desired temperature throughout without any human intervention irrespective of any changes in the external environment. The heating system is switched on if the surrounding temperature is less than the desired temperature or the cooling system is switched as the temperature sensed by the sensor goes above the surrounding temperature. Nevertheless, these kind of systems still needs some kind of improvement for being a better alternative.
