N2 - In the recent decades, Blockchain with techniques like bitcoin and cryptocurrency has progressed and it finds enormous applications due to their potential to impart transparency, prolixity and liability. The Blockchain achieves these characteristics via public-key cryptography plus hash functions. Nevertheless, the requirement of quantum cryptography came into existence and has opened for performing attacks which are on the basis of famous algorithm Grover's along with Shor's for further research. Such quantum techniques threaten traditional cryptography and hash functions. This technique forces a new design of Blockchain to incorporate cryptosystems that sustain the quantum related attacks. Thus came into existence of postquantum and quantum cryptography. For such applications, this paper gives the idea on post-quantum cryptosystems and how to implement these concepts on blockchains and other cryptocurrency techniques on the NIST standard curve. Here, we will be addressing the main challenges relevant to post-quantum Blockchain systems. The substantial comparisons provided in this are by considering various parameters and performance metrics by ensuring the post quantum cryptography and blockchains. This paper provides a comprehensive overview and practical recommendations on post-quantum blockchain security for investigators and builders in the field of blockchain technology.
