N2 - This paper discusses the tunable nature of LED technology, which controls the color temperature and their ability to perceive various light scenes in the biological rhythm of human beings. This luminaire has benefits which are not provided by normal light sources, which includes adjustable circadian rhythm, improved health, and well-being. The first part discusses the visual system of human beings, physiological benefits of optical radiations and perception of light. It also represents tunable white LED luminaire developed by the combination of warm white and cool white, mid power SMD LEDs. To obtain continuous adjustable Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) from 2700K to 6500K. The second part discusses the parameters related to photometry of the designed tunable white LED lighting solution with controlled CCT.
