Improving nursing research reporting: A guide to reporting guidelines

Enhancing the quality of the nursing research reporting through structured approach is the key in solving the problems related to reporting. Complete and transparent reporting of nursing research with the standard guidelines such as, The Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE), Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT), Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), Standards for reporting qualitative research (SRQR), Consensus-based Clinical Case Reporting Guideline (CARE) and Consolidated criteria for reporting qualitative research (COREQ)will ensure the transparency through the minimum set of items required to reflect what was one done? What are the outcomes? What are the benefits? What are the issues that bring bias and what are the harms?
