Abstract
In today’s world, on one side of the population, urbanization is increasing tremendously, and on the other side, advanced technologies such as cloud computing services, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things play a vital role in day-to-day life. This makes information accessibility, accuracy, and transparency very important as they were never before. The residents feel safe with the cities connected to the services they need immediately. They prefer to be well-informed of day-to-day operations and emergencies. This chapter discusses the various infrastructural data visualizations and also explains how the consumption of energy is improved with user interfaces in smart cities.
