Abstract

Due to environmental pollution there is tremendous fluctuation in the temperature that is affecting the healthy living. This has lead to dynamic monitoring of temperature at the hospital, home, industries, agriculture, forest and weather related applications. As Internet-of-Things (IoT) is an emerging technology that provides various services to gather and analyze the environmental changes using online APIs like IBM-Watson, OpenHAB, SimpleSoft, ThingSpeak etc, . Here we propose an Raspberry-Pi based room temperature monitoring system that uses ThingSpeak as an online API. The collected information is analyzed over the Internet and graphical output is provided to the user across the globe.
