Abstract

Intrarectal dermoid Is a rare clinical problem, mostly occurring in women. Though it is presumed that anterior rectal dermoids arise in the ovary and erode into the rectum, up to date there has been no substantial evidence for this. A 26‐year‐old woman is described who presented to us with an intrarectal dermoid wherein the stalk connecting the rectal dermoid and the left ovary was clearly demonstrated.
