Abstract

An L-shaped scalp flap based on the parietal branch of the superficial temporal artery is described to reconstruct the moustache in a young male patient who suffered from nitric acid burns of the face. This provides a simple technique as an alternative to microvascular technique for moustache reconstruction. The donor area morbidity was minimal.
